Adrian is a long time NC and Southeast climber who started trad climbing in the Red River Gorge back in the 90's. From there he moved to Chattanooga where he worked at Rock Creek Outfitters as an Assistant Manager and fell in love with the T-Wall and the many other fantastic climbing spots. Onward to North Carolina in the early 2000's where he came to work at the North Carolina Outward Bound School as an instructor and Climbing Specialist. Adrian stayed in NC and went on to earn his Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Appalachian State University and he continues to practice in the Caldwell County Public Schools. Adrian, his wife Nysie and their daughter Sophia recently moved back up to the Boone area last summer after living in Morganton NC.

Adrian continues to work for NCOBS as a Climbing Specialist, is an American Mountain Guides Association Single Pitch Instructor and Assistant Rock Guide having recently completed his Rock Guide Course here in North Carolina in October 2018. Adrian is co-owner of Rescue Climber Mountain Guides and is an active Board and Team member with the Appalachian Mountain Rescue Team. He is passionate about the climbing community and sharing education and instruction.
