Andrew Lizon

Andrew Lizon is a Chicago native that moved to the DC area in October 2018, and is currently a Master’s student at Georgetown studying Global Health. Andrew began climbing when his undergraduate physics professor proposed joining his university’s climbing club. After initially rejecting his professor’s suggestion, Andrew eventually tried climbing at his local gym and has not stopped since. Andrew most enjoys sport climbing and bouldering, and he is particularly fond of climbing at the New River Gorge—one offer he cannot refuse.
Andrew loves to explore new crags, wants to grow as a mentor, and hopes to continue to keep the psyche strong among all climbers! Andrew also hopes to honor the legacy that Michelle Xue left behind and wants to make the climbing community more unified.
