Paul Hendricks Los Padres.jpeg

Paul hendricks -

Chapter Chair

While crags weren’t the go-to playground in Paul’s childhood state of Michigan, he did spend his childhood exploring the great outdoors and learning to put as much time into protecting the environment as you do playing in it. In high school, his father and he began to venture into the mountains of Montana, Wyoming, and Washington, and he became hooked on the alpine environment. Since then, he has climbed all over the States and even met his wife, Allison, on a climbing trip to Yosemite. He is excited to strengthen the climbing community here in the Los Padres region and get us all to protect the places we climb.

Will Leith Los Padres.jpeg

Will Leith -

Chapter Co-Chair

Will grew up in a rural East Coast town nestled between the Adirondacks and the Catskills (1.5 hours from the Gunks!) but didn't start climbing until college. From there, the passion for climbing has taken him all across the country and beyond a few times. In an effort to close the gap between passion and profession, he has pursued a career path in the outdoor industry where he currently works as an engineer for Patagonia.

Allison Hendricks -

Allison Hendricks grew up in rural Ohio and found climbing when she moved to New York City after college. She spent much of her free time at the Midtown climbing gym and the Gunks until she left the big city for the West Coast. Quickly making friends who showed her around the glorious rocks in and near Southern California, she soon met her now husband, Paul, on a trip to Tuolumne. Crack climbing is her jam (pun intended). She enjoys long moderate routes in the Sierras, peanut butter cups, and is stoked on meeting new people and protecting the places we play in.

Juli Farley -

Events & Outreach

Juli grew up in the flatlands of the Midwest, just outside the city of Chicago. After pursuing a career in modern dance in the Windy City, Juli was ready to make a change and move somewhere with some elevation. In early 2015, Juli traded skyscrapers for the Sierra Nevada and headed to Ventura for an HR position with Patagonia. Her first outdoor climbing trip came shortly afterward, with Paul, Allison and Will as her guides. The trip turned out to be an epic (aka...they got lost), but she was hooked on the sport nonetheless. Juli looks forward to helping the local community get involved in both exploring and protecting the Lost Padres climbing areas.
