Spencer Shuman
After moving to Bozeman in 2013, Spencer quickly fell in love with both climbing and the community surrounding climbing. Realizing that he wanted to be more involved, he reached out to Matt Hopkins and asked 'to help a bit'. Realizing Spencer was much better at computer skills than himself, Matt quickly recruited Spencer to help revamp the Facebook page and launch the Instagram account. Spencer has been working on increasing the area's educational opportunities with regular presentations about the geology of the Bozeman area. You can find Spencer up in Hyalite Canyon post-holing to the most obscure ice climbs or taking another batch of friends up for 'a nice day out in the mountains'.
